Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson realized that there was no turning back once they got together in the Hamburg church. Ashley Hudson was only 17 and had never been with a woman before, so they took their time. However, it was true the first time they met. Andrew prayed for Ashley on New Year's Eve just before the new year began in 2016, to God would grant him one last blessing in the year. Then, Ashley would get married to him. Ashley would like to create a rustic folk wedding theme which reflected her as well as Andrew. To create their perfect wedding, Andrew and Ashley decided to take a little inspiration from the things they adore. Ashley grew in the 40-acre land that was selected as the venue for their wedding. Ashley and Andrew had played, explored, and hiked the whole trail which led them to the spot where they said "I do" in Ashley. Andrew, Ashley and their acquaintances had walked through this area several times when they started to get together. Personalization became important since almost every aspect involved the DIY of the bride and groom. Ashley created and painted some of the decorations. Andrew and Ashley's father created the ceremony seating and arch. Ashley states that we could not have had the magical wedding that I imagined the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral design. It truly is breathtaking.
